JAN WAGNER

He was born 1975 in Hannover. He studied screenwriting at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin (dffb) from 1997 to 2000. He has been studying film directing at the Polish National Film, TV and Theatre School in Lodz/Poland since 2003.

EMILIANO CORAPI

Emiliano Corapi was born in Rome August 13th 1970. He started the activity of director writing and realizing short film that participated in many festivals, winning numerously prizes including the “Nastro d’Argento”. He also realised documentaries and commercials.

Disturbed by the loud music coming from one of his neighbours’ flats, Mr Schwartz calls the police. When they arrive they cannot ascertain anything, at first … Then the film starts over again by presenting each tenant’s point of view, so that spectators can understand what really happened in each flat. This is the story of a butterfly effect.

STEFAN MUELLER

Stefan Mueller was born in Limburg, Germany in 1974. He studied at the University of Applied Sciences in Wiesbaden. From 2002 to 2004 he attended the Universidad Complutense in Madrid.

A 26-year-old man, Quinto, calls his girlfriend, Lory, to tell her about a brilliant plan: faking an accident at work with the help of his colleague Panca, to make an insurance claim.

FRANCESCO SEGRE’

Francesco Segrè was born in Berlin in 1984. His mother is Austrian and his father Chilean. At the age of five he and another 19 boys were selected by the Swiss secret services as potential war weapons and trained in different countries worldwide until 1999, when the Government lost their interest in the project. While on a mission in the Philippines, he met writer Calvino Buranelli with whom, after regaining his freedom and identity, he became friends and started to collaborate in making independent film productions. They have made different short films since 2003, including “Smoker Time”, “Latte di soia”, “Elena” and the 2006 Milan Film Festival Audience Award winner “Manila”, a tribute to their encounter.

KRZYSYSZTOF KIWERSKI

Krsysztof Kiwerski was born in Poznań in 1948. He studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow which awarded him with a special diploma in 1973. Since then, he has been working at the Academy as a Professor. He has shot 34 films, including four long feature films. He participated in more than 90 exhibitions in Poland, Germany, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Italy as well as in numerous film festivals in Poland and other countries.

ZBIGNIEW SZYMANSKI

Zbigniew Szymanski is a screenwriter and an animator. He graduated at the ASP in Cracow, Poland in 1970 and studied at the Screenwriting and Animation Studio. He is now a professional graphic and commercial designer.
