Sinossi / Synopsis
Due persone di mezza età, per prendersi una pausa dalle loro infruttuose vite, si incontrano per un picnic nel tentativo di ritrovare un contatto romantico. Ingenui, a disagio e figli di una generazione post-sovietica, sono alle prese con la versione più goffa di loro stessi mentre lottano contro i loro limiti, all’eterna ricerca dell’amore.
Taking a break from their unsuccessful lives, two middle-aged people meet up for a picnic in an attempt to rediscover romantic connection. Naïve, ill at ease and born of a post-soviet generation, they grapple with their most awkward selves whilst struggling with their boundaries, in the everlasting search for love.

Jorūnė Greičiūtė
Jorūnė Greičiūtė è nata nel 1991 a Vilnius, in Lituania. Dal 2014 ad oggi ha lavorato a numerosi progetti cinematografici sia lituani che internazionali. Nel 2018, Jorūnė ha iniziato a frequentare il master di regia della Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre sotto la supervisione del regista Audrius Stonys. Nel 2020 il suo cortometraggio Viskas gerai ha vinto il premio come miglior film lituano all’European Film Forum Scanorama.
Jorūnė Greičiūtė was born in 1991 in Vilnius, Lithuania. She has worked on various international and Lithuanian film projects since 2014. In 2018, Jorūnė started her MA studies in film directing at The Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre under supervision of film director Audrius Stonys. In 2020 her short film Viskas gerai won Best Lithuanian Film award at European Film Forum Scanorama.
