CÉCILE VERNANT

 

Cécile Vernat was born in 1973 and grew up in Martinique. She arrived in France at 18, and after a Aster Degree of English and American Literature at the University, she entered an acting school. After a while, she decided to work on both sides of the camera.

JORGE C. DORADO

Jorge C. Dorado was born in Madrid in 1976. To date he has made four short films and has worked as second assistant director on films like “La mala educación”, “Moulin Rouge”, “Hable con ella” and “El espinazo del diablo”. He is currently writing film-scripts for feature films.

LUISO BERDEJO

Luiso Berdejo was born in San Sebastián, Spain, in 1975. In 2001, he wrote and directed his first 35 mm short film: “Y ya no puede cambiar”. He is now writing the screenwriting for Paco Plaza’s next film “Cuento de navidad”.

PETRA SCHRÖDER
Petra Schröder was born on 15th March 1974 in Trostberg, Bavaria. After studying at the Academy of art in Hamburg, she worked as a story-boarder, a model-maker and a puppeteer. She attended a post-graduate course in scriptwriting at the Film Academy of Ludwigsburg, where she was taught by Christoph Fromm, Keith Cunningham, Michael Gutmann. She has been working as a producer for Bavaria Film Gmbh in Munich since 2006.

He was born in Crimmitschau in 1973 and studied design at Bauhaus-University Weimar. In 2004 and 2005 he participated in many video projects.

NICOLAS BARY
Nicolas Bary worked in numerous feature films as a technician, but never forgot his own projects, making three short films in the past four years : “Fragile” (2002), “Bifore” (2004) and “Judas” (2005). Stemming from a family of classical musicians, Nicolas holds music as an essential part of his filmmaking. He plays the violin, the clarinet and the bass and shares his creativity with Jean-Michel Ferran, who composed the original soundtracks of his films. While developing his first feature film with “Chapter 2”, Nicolas shot three advertising films for trademarks such as Total and Kinder.

DAVIDE RIZZO
Davide Rizzo was born in Galatina (Lecce) on 4th December 1979 and now lives in Bologna. After studying at the Senior High School Banzi Bazoli in Lecce,  he graduated in Arts and Literature (specialised in philology) at the university of Bologna. He is a film director, a screenwriter and a producer for Elefant Film, an independent production company based in Bologna.

BILL PLYMPTON
Bill Plyhmpton was born in Portland, Oregon on April 30 1946. He attended Portland State University, where he edited the university’s yearbook and was a member of the film society. In 1968 he moved to New York City and began to study at the School of Visual Arts. His illustrations have been published in The New York Times, Vogue, House Beautiful, The Village Voice, Screw, and Vanity Fair. His works have been frequently shown on MTV and he has become increasingly popular at animation festivals. Bill’s short film “GUARD DOG” has been acclaimed at many film festivals and brought him his second nomination for Oscar in January 2005.
