Ferdinand Knapp is a great actor, the best one. While he is playing a new role at the theatre, his character takes possession of him and makes him do something irreparable. Reality and insanity mingle and blur in the protagonist’ s mind. Loosely based on “the astronautical-cathode vicissitudes of the great mining engineer in the mental system”, Oreste Fernando Nannetti. He died in the psychiatric hospital of Volterra in 1994, but always alive, like a shadow beneath the cosmos.
