Kampung Tapir

Una domenica pomeriggio, Anna, una lavoratrice transfrontaliera, e suo marito lasciano la loro figlia di 5 anni a Kampung Tapir, in Malesia. Per strada, il bus che li porta a Singapore investe un tapiro selvatico che stava attraversando la strada
ma nessuno muove un dito per soccorrerlo. Nel dover scegliere in quale paese stabilirsi Anne scopre di essere come questa specie in via d’estinzione: ancora alla ricerca di un posto dove vivere una vita migliore.

A Sunday afternoon, migrant worker Anne and her husband leave their five years old daughter from Kampung Tapir, Malaysia. On the way to Singapore, the bus their ride hit a wild Malayan tapir which wanted to cross the road, but no one is eager to save it. In the struggling of choosing a country to settle down, Anne founds that she is like this endangered species, still drifting places to find their own better life.
