CORRADO RAVAZZINI
Corrado Ravazzini is an independent filmmaker. His first short film, “Requiem” (2001) received awards at several film festivals by important film directors, including Nichetti (Officina dei sogni Film Festival), Bozzetto (Oscarino) and Maurizio Ponzi (L’invasione degli ultracorti). He ranked sixth at the Triggerstreet Contest, organised and chaired by Kevin Spacey. Thanks to the awards he received, he self-produced the long feature film “Portraits”, whose underlying idea was to create an interesting story with an extremely limited budget and non professional actors by mixing elements typical of comedy, thriller and horror films. “Portraits” participated in the New York Film Festival and received special mentions by directors Umberto Lenzi and Manetti Bros at the Livorno Festival and at the Joe D’Amato Horror Film Festival. In 2005 he participated in the Turin RestFest with his short film “Dancer”. His short film “Swisssigns” participated in several film contests and won the CortoPergola Film Festival in 2006. He is now making new short films and is writing a screenplay for a long feature film about dreams.
