Like actors following the director’s wishes, puppets obey the orders of their puppeteer. However they do sometimes step out of line. This film explores how people change under the influence of varying circumstances, forces and events.

ALEXANDR SHMIGUN

Shmigun Alexandr Vitalyevich was born in Kiev in 1976. He works in the field of 2D Paint / Cel Animation, he is also a 3d modeler and animator. A.Shmigun studies at the Karpenko-Kary Cinema and Television Institute. He attends the animation workshop of the director and professor Evgeniy Sivokon. A.Shmigun is a fouth-year student presently. A.Shmigun is the director of animation in the “Boston Animation” Kiev studio. In 2004 he makes his debut as the film director, working in the puppet film “The play for three actors” produced by the Ukrainian state studio “UKRANIMAFILM”.
