Sinossi / Synopsis

Quattro anziane signore ricordano i vecchi tempi: quanto erano diversi i rapporti tra uomini e donne quando loro erano giovani? Le loro voci si fondono in una sola, quella della nonna Vera, che racconta la sua storia nei minimi dettagli. Un viaggio nella giovinezza della nonna e i ricordi della sua vita intima ci raccontano lo status delle donne slovene nella prima metà del XX secolo.

Four elderly women reflect on their memories of their youth and how different the relationships between men and women were. Their voices merge into one single voice, that of the grandmother Vera, who tells her story in full detail. A trip into grandmother’s past and the memories of her intimate life illustrate the status of Slovenian women in the first half of the 20th century.

Urška Djukić

Urška Djukić ha studiato all’Accademia delle Arti di Nova Gorica. Nel 2018 è stata selezionata alla 39a Cinéfondation Residence dove ha debuttato con il cortometraggio Little Trouble Girls, il cui sviluppo è proseguito all’interno del Torino Film Lab.

Urška Djukić studied at the Academy of Arts in Nova Gorica. In 2018 she was selected for the 39th Cinéfondation Residence where she debuted with the short Little Trouble Girls, which she continued to develop within Torino Film Lab.

Émilie Pigeard

Émilie Pigeard si è specializzata in Animazione alla National School Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs di Parigi. Nel 2014 ha partecipato a un programma Erasmus presso la Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen in Germania e da quel momento in poi ha iniziato a lavorare nel cinema a Parigi, da freelance.

Émilie Pigeard specialised in Animation at National School Supérieure Des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. In 2014 she undertook an Erasmus placement at the German Hochschule für Film und Fernsehen (HFF) and since then she has been working on films as a freelancer in Paris.
