Waste No 4 New York, New York revisits the history of the City in twenty minutes through twelve cemeteries and one landfill. The short documentary is the fourth, independent episode from the ten-part Waste series.

Il media artist e regista Jan Ijäs ha studiato regia documentaria presso il Dipartimento di Cinema, Televisione e Scenografia dell’Aalto University di Helsinki. I suoi film sono stati proiettati in più di 200 festival cinematografici e, come installazioni, anche in musei e gallerie d’arte.

Media artist and film director Jan Ijäs studied documentary filmmaking at the Department of Film, Television and Scenography at the Aalto University in Helsinki. His films have been screened at more than 200 film festivals and as installations in museums and art galleries.
