A village on a steep riverside, eroded nearly symbolically by the river. The conditions of the houses deteriorate every day and the village is less populated. The youngsters leave the town, the old people die. The middle age are forced to work hard to survive. The women take the animals across the river in barges; they are the only ones that think about their destiny and the village’s bad condition. The wind from Chernobyl blows towards them, but other calamities are hanging over them… |
