Press release Corallino’s Prize

Also in its sixth edition, Maremetraggio will give importance to the schools and to the young filmmaker aspirants world.

For them was created the “Corallino Prize” (“Premio Corallino”), intended for the best short film (optional theme), produced at the national level by junior and high secondary schools.
The schools interested in the projects are to present their own works (on VHS cassette or DVD; shorts cannot last more than 10 minutes) by the May 4, 2005.
A specialized jury will select the most merited work, that will be awarded on the July 9, 2005, on the occasion of the prize award ceremony of the Festival.
At the previous edition, the award went to the film short “Una giornata” of Tecnical Commercial School “Eva Mameli Calvino” from Cagliari, and a special award was assigned to the “Le scarpe nuove” of Technical Industrial School “Tomaso D’Oria” from Ciriè (Torino) and to the “Bulli,Bulloni e Merletti” of Education Direction 3th Circolo di Benevento.
Also this year the sponsorship of the competition will be under the Agiscuola, and the works must be sent and received by the Festival organizers Associazione Maremetraggio, Via Pozzo del Mare 1, – 34121 Trieste (see the announcement in attachment).
