DAVID DI DONATELLO

Two old man, two different worlds, are united only bty a garden and their loneliness. One is a boxer, who is keeping the dog of a friend, landed in prison. The other is a pensioner, widowed lately, who has decided to adopt a kitten. One day the dog shows up with a dead kitten in its mouth, all covered with mud. SO as not hurt the pensioner’s feelings, the ex boxer looks for a twin-kitten among the roman ruins, and when he finds it, substitutes it with the dead one. But the pensioner, who had just buried his kitten, died prematurely that very morning, on seeing the live kitten, dies himself of a heart attack. Freely taken from a metropolitan legend.

Giorgio Tirabassi: poliedric actor, he has been working in theatre with Gigi Proietti Come mi piace (1982), and olso with Ugo Gregoretti Caro Petrolini (1983). For TV he acted as a protagonist in several series and movies. “Don’t say Cat” is his first short film as a director.
