The story is set in Ancona and deals with a generational conflict developing in an ordinary family formed by a father, working as a psychoanalyst, a mother and their two children, a boy and a girl. Family tensions become tragedy when their son dies. And death, seen as one of the greatest pains parents have to deal with, will be the focus of the whole story.
