Like many of them, Bobby was arrested and forced under torture to confess a crime he never committed. But Bobby Sands' story is also the story of a modern martyr who showed that a man, deprived of his freedom, can still make his choices and be a man even in the darkest and most extreme conditions. From his arrest, through his terrible ordeal in prison, to his torture and hunger strike, this film tells of the indomitable fight that Bobby Sands led in favor of human rights, freedom and human dignity making him famous all over the world. |
