Sinossi / Synopsis
Il film è stato girato nel 2014 e nel 2015 nel luogo dove vengono abbandonate le imbarcazioni che conducono i rifugiati sull’isola italiana di Lampedusa. Racconta di come il valore della spazzatura possa sorprendentemente cambiare.
The film was filmed in 2014 and 2015 in the graveyard for refugee boats on the Italian island of Lampedusa. It is a story about how the value of garbage can surprisingly change.

Il media artist e regista Jan Ijäs ha studiato regia documentaria presso il Dipartimento di Cinema, Televisione e Scenografia dell’Aalto University di Helsinki. I suoi film sono stati proiettati in più di 200 festival cinematografici e, come installazioni, anche in musei e gallerie d’arte.
Media artist and film director Jan Ijäs studied documentary filmmaking at the Department of Film, Television and Scenography at the Aalto University in Helsinki. His films have been screened at more than 200 film festivals and as installations in museums and art galleries.
