Sinossi / Synopsis

Stephanie sorride mentre la folla la applaude. L’undicenne ginnasta ha appena vinto il suo primo titolo internazionale. Sforzandosi per elaborare tutta questa attenzione, la ragazzina si rende conto che la partita è appena iniziata.

Stephanie smiles as she’s applauded by the crowd. The 11-year-old gymnast has just won her first international title. Struggling to process all of this attention, the young girl realises that the game has only just begun.

Biografia regista / Biography Director

Leonardo van Dijl

Leonardo van Dijl ha debuttato con Get Ripped, che ha vinto il Grand Jury all’Outfest di Los Angeles. Due anni dopo ha ottenuto un master in cinema presso la Luca School of Arts di Bruxelles con il corto Umpire, proiettato in anteprima a Locarno. Il suo ultimo lavoro Stephanie è stato presentato in concorso al festival di Cannes.

Leonardo van Dijl made his debut with Get Ripped, which won the Grand Jury at Outfest Los Angeles. Two years later he obtained a Master degree in film at the Luca School of Arts, Brussels with the short film Umpire, which premiered in Locarno. His new short Stephanie was selected for the Official Competition at Cannes Film Festival.
