Sinossi / Synopsis
Castuera, Spagna, aprile 1939. Una notte, due guardie falangiste bussano alla porta della casa in cui Paz si sta nascondendo assieme alla sua famiglia. Viene convocata alla stazione di polizia. Paz capisce immediatamente il motivo della visita. Senza nessuna possibilità di fuga, chiede di allattare la figlia neonata per l’ultima volta.
Castuera, Spain, April 1939. One night, two Falangist Guards appear at the door of the house where Paz is hiding with her family. She is being called to the police station. Paz immediately understands the meaning of the visit. With no chance of escape, she asks to breastfeed her newborn daughter one last time.

Pedro Peralta
Pedro Peralta è nato a Lisbona, dove vive e lavora. Nel 2012 ha diretto il cortometraggio Mupepy Munatim, selezionato e proiettato in numerosi festival nazionali e internazionali. Nel 2016 ha girato Ascensão, presentato in anteprima internazionale alla Semaine de la Critique del Festival di Cannes e selezionato in più di settanta festival. Dal 2013 lavora per la casa di produzione Terratreme Filmes, dove coordina la distribuzione.
Pedro Peralta was born in Lisbon, where he lives and works. In 2012, he directed the short film Mupepy Munatim, which was selected by and shown at several national and international festivals. In 2016 he directed the short film Ascensão, which was internationally premiered at the Semaine de la Critique of the Cannes Film Festival and selected in more than seventy festivals. Since 2013 he has worked at the film production company Terratreme Filmes, where he coordinates distribution.
