GORAN KAPETANOVIC

Started his film director studies at the Dramatiska Institutet in 2001. He graduated in 2004. Before his film studies, Goran studied Russian history and culture, Art, Communication, fiction and documentary screenwriting. Before entering the film school, Goran had made many fiction shorts and documentaries.

Vladimir Kott was born in 1973. In 1966 he took a diploma at GITIS in Moscow (Department of theatre direction) with Prof. Golubovskij’s. In 2004 he graduated in Film Directing (Higher Course with Prof. Chotinenko). Currently, he is working on his film “Ochotnik”

March. From a terrace overlooking the Ligurian Sea, Maria Cristina films a body which floats just twenty meters from the seashore. The man appears to be dead or dying. Despite the high tide, someone dives in amidst the crashing waves in an attempot to bring him to shore. Asking for information to the people rushing to the promenade, Maria Cristina realizes that this “someone” could be her son…

 

GUIDO TORTORELLA

After taking his classical diploma in secondary school he is currently studying modern literature at the Statale University in Milan. In January 2002 he worked for the first time as assistant director in Arthur Miller’s theatre play “Erano tutti miei figli” (All my Sons), with Umberto Orsini in the lead, directed by Cesare Lievi. In the following years, he has worked in a number of drama and opera productions, among which wagner’s “Siegfried” for the Massimo Bellini theatre in Catania, directed by C. Lievi, scenes by M. Balò, and Mozart’s “Le nozze di Figaro”, produced by the Staatsteather of Wiesbaden, Germany. At the same time, he was writing critical reviews for specialized magazines like Sipario. In 2003 he directed his first theatre play, based on a J.P.Sartre piece, “A porte chiuse”, and in 2004 he wrote and directed the play “Vittime di illusioni”. In September 2004 he enrols to the yearly “Filmmaker” course of the film, Tv and new media school in Milan, where he was able to develop his first short film “Hang over”, while he was also editing the film of his theatre play “Vittime di illusioni” and making the video for the Fall/Winter 05/06 Youn Hye Jin fashion collection. His second short film, “Bere il mare” won the Lucania Film Festival 2005 and was finalist at the Genoa and Milan Film Festivals 2005.

HEDY KRISSANE

(Tunisia, 1971). He moved to Italy in 1992 following his passion for cinema. After taking courses in acting and directing, he began acting in numerous TV fiction and cine movies. He made his debut as a director in 2003 with the short film “Lebess”, which won the best film award in the Regional competition of the 2003 Torino film festival and as best director at the 2004 Salento Finibus Terrae.

Born on November 25th, 1977 in Luxembourg, Max Jacoby has studied at the London Film School. He graduated in 2001 with his first film “Babysitting”. In 2004 he directed “The Lodge” with Eve McEwan in the lead role. He lives between London and Luxembourg.

FABIO MOLLO

Fabio Mollo was born in Reggio Calabria on the 27th of April 1980. Graduated in “Visual Theories: Film History” from the University of East London in 2002, is now on his 3rd year of directing course at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia di Roma (National Film School). He has just finished attending a creative writing workshop with Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
