YEVGENIY SIVOKON
Sivokon Evgeniy Yakovlevich was born in Kiev in 1937. In 1965 he graduated in graphic arts from the Kiev State Art Institute. He has been working in the animation field since 1960 and has participated in more than 50 films as animator, art director, director and script writer. As a director, he has created more than 20 animation films. He worked as animator for the film “ Tuning Instruments” (2000) by Jerzy Kucia (Poland). He was scriptwriter, director and animator for the films “Compromix” (2002) and “Snow will cover the roads” (2004). He has held animation film directing workshops at the Karpenko-Kariy Theater and Cinema University since 1993. He is also the author and illustrator of numerous animation books and articles. Evgen Sivokon’s’ films have been shown at festivals all over the world and have been awarded at several film festivals, including International Film Festivals in Japan, France, Croatia, etc.

I found the Yellow Pages in the wood during an excursion. I thought of the natural process of disintegration. I decided to take the phone book with me and deconstruct it in an artistic context.

GÜNTER PULLER
Born in 1964, he lives and works in Vienna.

This movie gives insight into the world of a small farm where the destiny of the geese depends on the workers, and the workers’ life depends on the destiny of the geese. Many do not know what to expect from the morning yet. Peculiar sounds break the sunrise. Geese come, workers go. Yet, someone is constant whose dreams will never come true.

ATILA V. NAGY
He was born in Budapest and studied film directing at university.

This short is about the accidental meeting of a young girl and a man in the veranda of a wooden cottage. A fascinating and provocative moment of communication develops between these two people who are unlikely to see each other ever again. The magic of the autumn nature helps them overcome obvious differences and find the things they share– a cigarette, the sense of humour, simple human respect and a certain rebellion to the world as it is. His taking his clothes off to satisfy her curiosity confirms the bond of trust between them.

SLOBODANKA RADUN
Slobodanka Radun was born in 1971 in Loznica, Yugoslavia. After graduating in film directing at FAMU, she settled in Prague permanently. She has shot several documentaries for the Czech TV, a couple of commercials, and has written a script for a TV drama.
