He sometimes argues with all those expecting an easy way to obtain concessionary leave or the much coveted open prison. But Fabio does not grant any dispensations and sticks to his principles, despite it being a lot harder than he is actually willing to admit to himself. One day, a prisoner convicted of murder starts a conversation with him. His name is Sparti, a difficult man, hardened by detention. This unexpected encounter forces Fabio to deal with the ghosts of removed family memories and to face his sister, Cristina, who does not want to reopen old wounds which could jeopardize their peaceful and quiet life.
