ON THURSDAY 28TH MAY AT THE ARISTON, DIRECTOR CLEMENTE BICOCCHI PRESENTED THE DOCUMENTARY “EDUCAZIONE AFFETTIVA”.

DURING THE EVENING THE NEW ‘SWEETS4KIDS’ SECTION OF SHORTS ORGANISED BY MAREMETRAGGIO WAS INTRODUCED.

On Thursday 28th May at both 18:30 and 20:00 at Trieste’s Ariston Cinema, “Educazione Affettiva”, a documentary by Clemente Bicocchi and Federico Bondi was screened. Director Clemente Bicocchi and journalist Elisa Grando (Ciak) attended, with a presentation to the audience programmed at 19:30 between the two screenings. Being so close to the end of the school year, La Cappella Underground wanted to pay tribute to the fundamental and irreplaceable work of the teachers and to the difficult but wonderful “work” of the parents, programming a film that gives voices to those that give life to school, live it, build it and sometimes suffer it: children, the main characters in this mini-world, and their mentors as they grow up, the teachers. In the course of the evening, the new section SweeTS4Kids was also presented, dedicated to children between the ages of 8 and 13, that will take place in the context of the ShorTS  International Film Festival.

A real festival within a festival: SweeTS4Kids, with artistic director (size XS), Tommaso Gregori, 10 years old and brought up on bread and cinema, son of film critic Beatrice Fiorentino.

In competition, chosen by Tommaso Gregori from over a hundred films, 27 short films conceived for children from all over the world. Tommaso is the youngest artistic director on the festival scene, truly showing that children have opinions and that it is right for them to choose what they like and what they don’t like, instead of giving this privilege to adults who usually decide for them.
