Regno Unito / United Kingdom 2013, HD, mono, col., 15′
A young man sits alone on a bench and contemplates a recent past encounter. We flash back to the man and his girlfriend chatting one evening on London’s tube. A stranger strikes up a conversation with the couple and they soon discover that he has recently returned from military service. The soldier asks them about their lives and what they plan to do together. In turn he tells them about his experience abroad and all of a sudden their problems are put into perspective. The soldier continues with his questioning and events become unnerving on the claustrophobic Tube… Passenger forces us to evaluate the perceived problems of modern life and focuses on the difficulty of soldiers’ integration back into society.[:]
