TSUYAKO
During postwar Japan, Tsuyako lives a demanding life as a mill factory worker, obedient wife and loving mother.[:] But when an old lover, Yoshie, pays a surprise visit, she reignites a passion in Tsuyako – one that Tsuyako has repressed, and has kept hidden since their separation. Prompted by Tsuyako’s many hardships, Yoshie hatches a plan to bring them closer to happiness.
