Three boys from the South (Domenico, Angelo e Salvatore) react to the cruent borbonic repression that involved their families in 1828 joining the Giovine Italia. Through 4 episodes where they’re protagonists we can go back over some historical events that brought to the Italian Union. From Cristina Belgioioso’s arrive in the circle in Paris to the failure of the plan to assassinate Carlo Alberto and of the Savoiardi surge in 1834. These events will bring the three boys to stray one from the other. Angelo and Domenico, of noble birth, will choose a different path from Salvatore, of humble origins. Angelo (at this point devoted to the exemplar and violent action) will charge Salvatore of being a traitor. We’ll observe all the facts of the Risorgimento through Domenico’s eyes.
