CARLOTA CORONADO

She was born in Madrid in 1978. She graduated in communication sciences at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1996-2001). From 1997 to 2002 she contributed to the production of more than ten short films. As a director and screenwriter she made four short films (“Insensatez”, “Caffè per due”, “Necrópolis” and “Libra”) and directed the documentary film “Basilio Martín Patino. Sobre espejos rotos”, which won the Doc’Amateur festival of the Documania satellite channel. In 2001 and 2002 she attended film directing and editing courses at Griffith2000 – Accademia di Cinema e Televisione, Cinema and Television Academy – in Rome. In 2002 and 2003 she taught short film production at Tedavi’98 (Florence). From 2003 to 2006 she attended courses of film history at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid.
