IGOR LEGARRETA, EMILIO PÉREZ
Igor Legarreta and Emilio Pérez were born in Bilbao in 1973 and in 1974 respectively. They both graduated in Audiovisual Communications at the University of the Basque Country, EHU/UPV. They have been jointly writing and directing their own scripts since 1994. Their first short films have been awarded several prizes at different film festivals and in 1999 they shot their first film “El trabajo”, which won awards at the Locarno and Montpellier Film Festivals.
