BIOGRAFIA: Nata nel 1963, Birgite Stærmose è una regista residente in Copenaghen. Ha ottenuto un MFA in cinematografia e Arti Mediatiche alla “Temple University” in Filadelfia. I suoi lavori includono i cortometraggi Separating e Morning Tide premiati con il premio della Lawrence Kasdan Award per la migliore narrativa al film Festival di Ann Arbor e una candidatura alla Accademy student award. Look At Me è il primo film danese di Birgitte e ricevette il premio del pubblico per il miglior cortometraggio al Festival Internazionale di Hamptons.

Born in 1963. Birgitte Stærmose is a Copenhagen based film director. She holds an MFA in Film and Media Arts from Temple University in Philadelphia. Her previous work includes the short films Separating and Morning Tide – awarded the Lawrence Kasdan Award for Best Narrative at the Ann Arbor Film Festival and a Student Academy Award nomination. Se mig nu / Now, Look at Me is Birgitte’s first Danish film and received the Audience Award for Best Short at the Hamptons International.
