ENGLISH VERSIONTwo old men, in two different worlds, are united only by a garden and their loneliness.
One is an ex-boxer who takes in a dog left to him by a friend in jail. The other is a recently widowed pensioner, who has decided to adopt a kitten. One day the dog shows up with a dead kitten in its mouth, all covered with mud. So as not hurt the pensioner’s feelings, the ex boxer looks for a twin-kitten among the roman ruins, and when he finds one, he replaces the dead one with it. But for the pensioner, who had just buried his kitten that had died prematurely that very morning, the sight of the replaced kitten made him have a heart attack and he died. Freely adapted from an urban legend.
