Sinossi / Synopsis
Tasnim, una bambina di dieci anni forte e saccente, vive con la madre e i fratelli in un trascurato villaggio beduino nel Negev. Una visita a sorpresa del padre la costringe, per la prima volta nella sua vita, a confrontarsi con le norme conservatrici della tribù e con il fatto che non è più la cocca di papà.
Tasnim, a strong and opinionated ten-year-old, lives with her mother and siblings in a neglected Bedouin village in the Negev. A surprise visit from her father in the village forces her, for the first time in her life, to confront the conservative norms of the tribe and the fact that she is no longer daddy’s-little-girl.

Elite Zexer
Il suo primo lungometraggio, Sand Storm (2016), è stato presentato in anteprima al Sundance Film Festival e ha vinto il Grand Jury Award for International Film. Ha vinto anche sei Academy Awards israeliani, tra cui Miglior Film e Miglior Regista, ed è stato scelto per rappresentare Israele agli Oscar. Il suo secondo lungometraggio Two Peas in a Pod è in fase di preproduzione. Elite sta inoltre sviluppando tre progetti televisivi internazionali.
Her debut feature film, Sand Storm (2016), premiered at Sundance Film Festival and won the Grand Jury Award for International Film. The film went on to win six Israeli Academy Awards including Best Film and Best Director, and was chosen to represent Israel at the Oscars. Today Zexer’s second feature film titled Two Peas in a Pod is in pre-production. Additionally, she is developing three international TV projects.
