Sinossi / Synopsis
È l’ultima settimana di scuola ma Simon non sta studiando per gli esami. I suoi genitori hanno divorziato e sembrano aspettare un cambiamento che però non arriva mai. Simon è stanco di aspettare. Potrebbe avere un biglietto di sola andata per gli Stati Uniti? Sarebbe possibile far esplodere gli oggetti da lontano? E se potessimo tornare indietro nel tempo? O solo nei film è possibile trovare la libertà?
It’s the last week of school but Simon is not studying for his finals. His parents got divorced and seem to be waiting for a change that never comes. Simon gets tired of waiting. Could he get a one-way ticket to the USA? Would it be possible to make objects explode from afar? What if we could turn back time? Or freedom is only to be found in movies?

Marta Sousa Ribeiro
Marta Sousa Ribeiro è nata nel 1992 a Lisbona. Nel 2011 mette in pausa il corso di cinema che sta frequentando alla scuola di teatro e cinema di Lisbona per poi iscriversi ai corsi di disegno e pittura dell’Ar.Co e realizzare il suo primo cortometraggio, Amareloazulpretoamarelo. Ha frequentato l’European Film College in Danimarca, dove ha realizzato il suo secondo cortometraggio, Four Floors. Ha prodotto svariati progetti tra cui cortometraggi, documentari e video musicali.
Marta Sousa Ribeiro was born in 1992 in Lisbon. In 2011 she put her film degree at Lisbon’s Theatre and Film School on pause, later joining the Drawing and Painting courses at Ar.Co and making her first short film, Amareloazulpretoamarelo. She enrolled at the European Film College in Denmark, where she made her second short film, Four Floors. She produced a number of projects including short films, documentaries and music videos, among others.
