Sinossi / Synopsis

Vangie, una triste commessa, sta per perdere il lavoro. Nel disperato tentativo di convincere il suo capo a non licenziarla, Vangie scopre il definitivo, incredibile segreto per la sua regolarizzazione.

Vangie, a miserable sales lady, is about to lose her job. But in her desperate attempt to convince her boss not to sack her, Vangie uncovers the ultimate jaw-dropping secret to regularization.

Sonny Calvento

Sonny Calvento è un regista, autore e produttore filippino. È stato membro dell’Hanoi International Film Festival Directing and Producing Studio, dove ha ricevuto il premio di Best Talent in Directing and Producing. Il suo lavoro Excuse Me, Miss, Miss, Miss è stato uno dei 13 cortometraggi internazionali del Sundance 2021, selezionato tra più di 9800 iscritti. In particolare, è stato il primo corto filippino in assoluto a partecipare al festival.

Sonny Calvento is a director, writer and producer from the Philippines. He was a fellow of the Hanoi International Film Festival Directing and Producing Studio, where he was awarded Best Talent in Directing and Producing. His short film Excuse Me, Miss, Miss, Miss entered the 2021 Sundance Film Festival as one of the 13 international short fiction films out of more than 9,800 submissions. Notably, it is also the first ever Filipino short film to have taken part in the festival.
