Sinossi / Synopsis
Elsa ha settant’anni e cinque arnie vuote. Solo una nuova ape regina, se accettata, potrebbe far ritornare le api. Una mattina trova nascosto nella rimessa Amin, un ragazzo di sedici anni scappato da un centro per immigrati. Elsa decide di dargli ospitalità in cambio di aiuto con le sue arnie, fino a quando dovrà lasciar andare anche lui.
Seventy year old Elsa has five beehives, but no bees. The only thing that can bring them back is a new queen bee, if she can be accepted. One morning Elsa finds someone hidden in a shed: Amin, a sixteen year old illegal immigrant. Elsa decides to hide him in exchange for some help with the beekeeping, until the moment she has to say goodbye.

Nicola Sorcinelli
Nicola Sorcinelli è un giovane filmmaker italiano. Il suo percorso artistico inizia già durante l’infanzia, nel corso degli anni di scuola. Fin dall’inizio della sua carriera i suoi lavori sono stati selezionati da importanti festival cinematografici: ha già ricevuto più di 60 premi e nomination, compreso un Nastro d’Argento. Al momento sta lavorando al suo primo lungometraggio.
Nicola Sorcinelli is a young Italian filmmaker. His artistic path began in childhood, during his school years. Since the very beginning of his career his work has been selected by major film festivals: he has already received more than 60 awards and nominations, including a Silver Ribbon (Italian Critics’ Choice Movie Awards). He is currently developing his first feature film.
