Cinema meets comic strips for the third consecutive year at ShorTS, with the 3rd annual 24 Hour Shorts Comic Marathon.
A 24 hour deadline, aspiring cartoonists and one theme: these are the ingredients for our event that will take place from 17:00 on Saturday 29th June to 17:00 on Sunday 30th June in Piazza della Borsa. The lights will stay on all night to illuminate the way for all those who want to challenge themselves by writing and illustrating a short comic strip, with a film theme, in just one day.
Some big names from the comic scene will be on hand to advise, and eventually pick the best comic strip from among the participating contenders. The prize is the publication of your story in a specially-created volume.
The volume featuring last years winners, chosen by Lorenzo Pastrovicchio and Sio, has just been printed and will be available for free in the coming days at Fantasylandia and Neopolis comics, who are also this year’s partner.
Time is running out, so sign up below using the form or by sending an email to [email protected] with all the information requested below. Bring all the friends you like, as having fun is what counts, not just winning!
