Voltaire, an insignificant weather vane from a country chapel, lives a depressing life. One night, having been blasted off by a lightning strike, he takes his chance to move to the beautiful cathedral on the horizon. But, once there, he unknowingly stumbles into a murder scheme and is forced to overcome his greatest fears.

In conflitto con se stesso, Sam porta il pubblico nella sua mente, dove confronta la sua ex-ragazza di lunga data, Marie.

Sam is a self-doubting dreamer who discovers a rare and intense attraction to a stranger on the bus. He fantasises about different scenarios of approaching the girl, but never finds the courage to actually do so. Conflicted, Sam takes the audience into his own mind, where he confronts his long-time ex-girlfriend, Marie.
