Zahraa, rifugiata dell’Iraq del nord, sogna di andare a scuola. Si trova invece costretta, insieme a suo fratello Hassan, a rovistare in una discarica alla ricerca di materiale di valore, sempre in competizione con altri ragazzini che fanno lo stesso. Quando uno scambio con l’autoproclamatosi “Re della spazzatura” finisce male, il rapporto fra i due fratelli viene messo duramente alla prova.

Zahraa, a northern Iraqi refugee, dreams of going to school. Instead she must scour a landfill site for valuable materials with her brother, Hassan, competing with other scavengers. But when a trade with the self proclaimed “King of Garbage” goes wrong, the sibling’s relationship is tested to breaking point.

La cena annuale in memoria della morte di Cornelius ravviva i ricordi di Samuel riguardo la sua attrazione per lui. Tormentato dal rimpianto e incompreso da tutti, non aveva mai rivelato la sua omosessualità alla famiglia di Cornelius, invitata a cena proprio quella sera. Una volta rimasto solo, Samuel si ritira nella sua stanza per diventare una Queen of the Night in onore del suo amore perduto.

The annual dinner commemorating Cornelius’ death revives Samuel’s memories of his attraction to him. Tormented by regret and misunderstood by all, he never revealed his homosexuality to Cornelius’ family, who he had invited that evening. After their departure, Samuel retires to his room and becomes a Queen of the Night in tribute to his lost love.

Joachim, avendo deciso di diventare padre, si ritira dal base jumping. Ma prima di andare effettivamente “in pensione” si imbarca in un’ultima avventura insieme al suo amico Øyvind. All’avvicinarsi di una tempesta la loro amicizia viene sottoposta a un test: Øyvind vorrebbe tornare indietro, ma Joachim sembra determinato a non fermarsi davanti a niente pur di portare a termine il suo ultimo salto.

Joachim is retiring from base-jumping to become a father, but first he endeavours to go on one last adventure with his best friend, Øyvind. When a storm approaches, their friendship is put to the test; Øyvind wants to turn back, but Joachim will apparently stop at nothing to pull off his very last jump.

Durante la sua ricerca, Vinicius scoprirà che il miglior suono del mondo è più vicino di quanto ci si aspetti.

Vinicius doesn’t collect action figures, toy cars or comic books. He collects something that can be neither seen nor touched: sounds of the world. But that isn’t an easy task, especially when one decides to find the greatest sound ever heard. On his quest, Vinicius will discover that the best sound in the world is much closer than expected.
