Sinossi / Synopsis

Studentessa modello nella sua scuola elementare, l’undicenne Lin Yuqi è stata incaricata di tenere un discorso sulla sua famiglia all’Incontro dei Genitori di stasera. Ma, dopo aver scoperto di condividere lo stesso segreto con un compagno di classe, inizia ad avere dei ripensamenti.

As a model student in her elementary school, eleven-year-old Lin Yuqi is assigned to give a speech about her family at the Parent’s Meeting tonight. But after Lin finds out that she shares the same secret with a classmate, she starts to have second thoughts.

Biografia regista / Biography Director

Luo Runxiao

Luo Runxiao, classe 2000, è un regista e sceneggiatore cinese. Avendo scoperto presto la sua vera passione, Runxiao ha iniziato a fare cinema da autodidatta e a girare documentari all’età di sedici anni. Al momento studia Produzione Cinematografica alla Tisch School of the Arts della NYU. Il suo cortometraggio d’esordio, Tou sheng, ji dan, zuo ye ben, è selezionato alla 78a Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia – Concorso Cortometraggi Orizzonti.

Luo Runxiao, born in 2000, is a Chinese director and screenwriter. Knowing early where his true passion lay, Runxiao began learning filmmaking on his own and shooting documentaries at the age of sixteen. Currently, he is an undergraduate student studying Film Production at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. His debut short film, Tou sheng, ji dan, zuo ye ben, is selected into the 78th Venice International Film Festival – Orizzonti Short Film Competition.
