Sinossi / Synopsis
Un uomo triste e misurato è sdraiato sul letto nella sua stanza vuota. Esita e riflette in continuazione, senza decidersi, è bloccato. È angosciato, esausto. Un altro uomo è seduto alla finestra: lo guarda ed esce in strada.
A sad and restrained man is lying on the bed in his empty room. He hesitates and ponders in a cycle without making a decision, he’s stuck. He is anguishing, exhausted. Another man is sitting by the window: he looks at him and out to the street.

Luís Soares
Il primo film d’animazione di Luís Soares, Any Other Man, è stato presentato in anteprima al Curtas Vila do Conde del 2012; ha vinto il Premio António Gaio a Cinanima nonché il Mikeldi de Oro a ZINEBI e il Brand New Award a IndieLisboa. La sua seconda animazione, Suspensão, è stata presentata in anteprima a IndieLisboa nel 2020 ed è stata selezionata, tra gli altri, in sette festival che qualificano agli Oscar.
Luís Soares’ first animated film, Any Other Man, premiered at the Curtas Vila do Conde in 2012; it won the António Gaio Prize at Cinanima, as well as the Mikeldi de Oro at ZINEBI and the Brand New Award at IndieLisboa. His second animation, Suspensão, premiered at IndieLisboa in 2020 and was selected for seven Academy Award qualifying festivals, among many others.
