Sinossi / Synopsis
È la vigilia di Natale e Synnøve sta cercando la tossicodipendente figlia Michelle in una città quasi deserta. Synnøve e Michelle sono realmente madre e figlia e interpretano una versione di loro stesse in una storia che è molto vicina alle loro vite.
It’s Christmas Eve, and Synnøve is searching for her drug-addicted daughter Michelle in an almost desolated city. Synnøve and Michelle are mother and daughter in real life, and play versions of themselves in a story that is very close to their own lives.

Biografia regista / Biography Director
Aslak Danbolt
Aslak si è laureato in Documentary Directing al Lillehammer University College e ha poi ottenuto un master in Regia alla London Film School. Lavora sia con il documentario che con la fiction, e Mamma è il primo progetto in cui li mette insieme. Al momento sta sviluppando il suo primo lungometraggio.
Aslak has a BA in Documentary Directing from Lillehammer University College and an MA in Filmmaking from The London Film School. He works with both documentary and fiction, and Mamma is the first project where he combines the two. He’s now developing his first feature.
