Sinossi / Synopsis

Khadiga, madre diciottenne, vive da sola con il suo bambino dopo che suo marito è andato in una città lontana per lavoro. In un giorno qualunque si fa strada attraverso il trambusto del Cairo per fare alcune visite, sentendosi a disagio con l’ambiente circostante.

Khadiga, a young mother of eighteen, lives alone with her baby after her husband left for work in a remote city. On an ordinary day she makes her way through the hustle of Cairo streets to do some visits where she feels uncomfortable with the surroundings.

Morad Mostafa

Morad Mostafa è un regista egiziano, nato nel 1988 al Cairo, in Egitto. Ha lavorato a diversi film indipendenti in qualità di assistente alla regia; ha collaborato come executive director in Souad di Ayten Amin (selezione ufficiale al Festival di Cannes 2020 e alla Berlinale). Morad ha scritto e diretto Henet Ward e What We Don’t Know About Mariam; entrambi i film sono stati presentati in anteprima mondiale al Festival du Court Métrage di Clermont-Ferrand.

Morad Mostafa is an Egyptian director, born in 1988 in Cairo, Egypt. He worked as an assistant director in several independent films; he collaborated as an executive director in Souad by Ayten Amin (official selection at Cannes Film Festival 2020 and Berlinale). Morad wrote and directed Henet Ward and What We Don’t Know About Mariam; both movies had their world premiere at Clermont-Ferrand Festival du Court Métrage.
