Sinossi / Synopsis
Un ragazzo di quattordici anni, la cui madre ha intenzione di vendere la Datsun del suo defunto padre, decide di portare il suo migliore amico e il suo fratellino a farci un ultimo giro.
A fourteen-year-old boy, whose mum plans on selling his late dad’s Datsun, decides to take his best friend and little brother on one last joyride.

Mark Albiston
Nato a Wellington, in Nuova Zelanda, Mark Albiston si è creato una reputazione in patria per aver realizzato innovativi programmi TV sugli artisti e sulla scena creativa della Nuova Zelanda. I suoi film, incentrati prevalentemente sui temi dell’infanzia, della giovinezza e del raggiungimento della maturità, sono già stati proiettati più volte alla Berlinale Generation: l’ultimo è stato Shopping (co-diretto da Louis Sutherland) nel 2013, che ha vinto il Grand Prix della Giuria Internazionale nella sezione Generation 14plus.
Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Mark Albiston has developed a reputation at home for making innovative TV programmes about New Zealand’s artists and creative scene. His films, which focus predominantly on the topics of childhood, youth and coming of age, have already screened a number of times in Berlinale Generation, most recently in 2013 with Shopping (co-directed by Louis Sutherland) which won the Grand Prix of the International Jury in the Generation 14plus section.
