Sinossi / Synopsis
Jugoslavia, 1991. Lontano dalle zone di guerra, Branka trova lavoro nel reparto maternità di un ospedale statale. La giovane donna è sola, ma si scopre che la solitudine non è il carico più pesante che Branka deve sopportare: i neonati stanno scomparendo dall’ospedale.
Yugoslavia, 1991. Far away from the war zones, Branka gets a job at a maternity ward in a state hospital. The young woman is all alone, but it turns out loneliness is not the hardest burden Branka has to carry; newborns are disappearing from the hospital.

Ákos K. Kovács
Ákos K. Kovács è nato nel 1991 a Senta, in Jugoslavia. Dopo aver frequentato le scuole superiori a Subotica, si è trasferito a Budapest per studiare Cinematografia alla Metropolitan University. Il suo film di diploma, Away (diretto da Roland Ferge), ha debuttato alla Berlinale Generation nel 2014 dove ha vinto la Menzione Speciale della Giuria Internazionale Generation Kplus. Ha lavorato come direttore della fotografia a It’s Not the Time of My Life di Szabolcs Hajdu.
Ákos K. Kovács was born in 1991 in Senta, Yugoslavia. After he finished high school in Subotica he moved to Budapest to study Cinematography in the Metropolitan University. His BA diploma work, Away (directed by Roland Ferge), debuted at the Berlinale Generation in 2014 where it won Special Mention of the Generation Kplus International Jury. His other collaborations as a DoP include Szabolcs Hajdu’s It’s Not the Time of My Life.
