Sinossi / Synopsis

Shai, un soldato in servizio, torna a casa con un pacco di cibo donatogli dall’esercito. È deciso a celebrare la Pasqua con la sua famiglia e rifiuta l’invito dei suoi amici ad uscire durante il Seder. Ma un segreto di famiglia che ha a che fare con il denaro scombina i suoi piani.

Shai, a soldier in active duty, returns home with a package of food donated to him by the army. He is determined to celebrate Passover with his family and rejects his friends’ invitation to go out during the Seder. A family secret revolving around money interferes with his plans.

Salomon Chekol

Salomon è nato in Etiopia nel 1993 e si è trasferito ad Ashdod, in Israele, nel 1998. Ha frequentato il collegio a Gerusalemme. Solomon è un ex allievo del progetto Seeing Afar, che individua studenti di talento delle scuole superiori e li aiuta ad integrarsi negli studi cinematografici. Solomon continua a collaborare con il progetto in qualità di tutor.

Salomon was born in Ethiopia in 1993 and moved to Israel in 1998, where he grew up in Ashdod. He attended boarding school in Jerusalem. Solomon is an alumnus of the Seeing Afar project, which identifies talented high school students and helps integrate them into film studies. Solomon continues to be associated with the project as a mentor.
