“Cara ti amo…” è la storia di quattro amici che, alla soglia dei quarant’anni, affrontano le vicissitudini quotidiane con l’altra metà del cielo e si confrontano per cercare di capire il mondo femminile. Tutti e quattro hanno alle spalle una relazione che ha lasciato strascichi, cicatrici o semplice allergia ai rapporti di coppia, così nel tempo la loro amicizia è diventata una valida alternativa alla protezione affettiva del rapporto di coppia. Attraverso le loro storie si svelano le inconfessabili nevrosi e follie della donna contemporanea. E l’impossibilità per gli uomini di comprenderla. Un’impresa impossibile, che porta i quattro amici a sperimentare con possibili fidanzate, amiche o amanti, situazioni assurde, comiche o semplicemente surreali.
“Cara ti amo” is a story of four friends that, in their forties, face their everyday vicissitudes with women, trying together to understand female’s world. All of them have a “sad-ending” relationship left behind or cannot stand couple relationships, thus their fellowship have become an alternative to the couple relationship affective protection during the years. Through their stories we can sense the unmentionable neurosis and lunacies of nowadays women. It’s impossible for men to understand them. An extraordinary venture that will make them experiment possible girlfriends, lovers in surreal and absurd situations.

Ludovico è un diciottenne di prorompente bellezza che non riesce a vivere la sua età. Orfano da quando era piccolo e cresciuto da uno zio vizioso e meschino, ricerca nelle donne, in particolare in quelle più grandi, l’amore incondizionato, nel tentativo di riempire il proprio vuoto affettivo, ma senza riuscirci davvero. Quando Ludovico s’innamora di Giulia, amante di suo zio, sarà costretto ad aprire gli occhi sulla propria situazione familiare e sentimentale. Dopo aver toccato il fondo spirituale e morale, Ludovico cercherà di ritrovare se stesso e diventare un ragazzo come gli altri della sua età.
Ludovico is a gorgeous eighteen-years-old boy unable to enjoy his age. Left orphan when he was still a child and grew up by a mean and vicious uncle, Ludovico tries without success to find in women, especially in the older ones, an unconditioned love, seeking to fulfill his want of affection. Ludovico falls in love with his uncle’s lover, Giulia, and will be obliged to consider in a serious way his domestic and sentimental situation. After having touched the spiritual and moral bottom, Ludovico will try to find his way and become a boy as the others of his age.

L’estrema periferia romana fa da sfondo a tre storie prima parallele e, successivamente, legate fra di loro dal filo rosso della droga e della criminalità. Marco, dopo cinque anni passati in carcere, torna a casa sforzandosi di cercare una vita normale, lontana dai traffici illeciti che avevano causato il suo arresto. Il tentativo di dimenticare il suo passato e di iniziare una nuova vita è destinato al fallimento: l’uomo, abbandonato dalla famiglia, si lascia convincere dai suoi ex compari, Glauco e Mauro, a riprendere a spacciare. Marco si ritrova di nuovo a convivere con la delinquenza e inizia a vendere cocaina sulla panchina di un piccolo parco. Questa diverrà per lui una sorta di isola dalla quale gli è possibile osservare le vite altrui e riflettere su se stesso. Sonia, studentessa universitaria, lavora nella bisca di Sergio. Il suo tentativo di studiare e di rendersi indipendente economicamente viene vanificato dalla dura realtà che la circonda. L’illusione di trovare la comprensione di Sergio e l’amicizia di Marco si mescola alla stanchezza e alla rassegnazione. La terza storia riguarda tre ragazzi, Faustino, Massimo e Federico. Diversi fra loro ma costretti a un’amicizia che li rende apparentemente invulnerabili, i tre si trovano invischiati in una serie di eventi concatenati che li porteranno a scontrarsi non solo fra loro, ma anche con la dura realtà della strada. Un motorino scambiato per un po’ di cocaina porta le tre storie a intrecciarsi drammaticamente. I protagonisti, una volta incontratisi, lasceranno dietro di loro una scia di fuoco, sangue e violenza.
The outskirts of Rome are the backgroud of three stories, parallel at first and interwined with the red thread of drug and criminality afterwards. Marco, after 5 years passed in jail, comes back home trying to find an equilibrium, some normality in his life, far from the illicit traffic that caused his arrest. The attempt to forget his past and to begin a new life is destined to fail: the man, abandoned by his family, is persuaded by his ex fellows, Glauco e Mauro, to start to push drug again. Marco finds himself to live with delinquency again and starts to sell cocaine on a bench of a little public garden. This park will become a little island to him where he will observe other people’s life and reflect on himself. Sonia is an universitary student and works in Sergio’s gambling den. Her attempt to study and to be economically independent is nullified by the harsh reality that surrounds her. The illusion to find comprehension in Sergio and friendship in Marco mixes with tiredness and resignation. The third story is about three boys, Faustino, Massimo and Federico, different one from the others but constricted in a friendship that makes them seem invulnerable. The three boys found themselves trapped in many connected events that will bring them to fight one against each others and against the harsh reality. A moped exchanged with some cocaine will dramatically interlace their lives. The protagonists after their encounter will leave behind them a trail of blood, fire and violence.

In una Napoli multietnica, s’intrecciano i destini di Alfonso e Gayan, che si ritrovano a condividere giocoforza una catapecchia eretta abusivamente su un tetto di un palazzo nel cuore del quartiere srilankese della città. Alfonso è costretto, per un tragicomico equivoco, a nascondersi da una banda di malavitosi e Gayan diviene dapprima ostaggio e poi suo unico alleato. Da questa paradossale convivenza nasce tra i due una speciale amicizia, un sodalizio che darà loro il coraggio di affrontare il proprio destino, cambiandolo per sempre.
Alfonso passed all his life studying cells migration and watching soap operas with his mother. Gayan travelled, met success, glory and money. What do these two characters have in common? How is possible for such different kind of people to enter in contact with each other and form a strong relationship? In the multiethnic Naples Alfonso and Gayan’s destinies interlace. They find themselves bound to share an abusive hovel built on a flat roof in the center of the srilankian quarter of the city. Alfonso is obliged, for a tragicomic equivocation, to hide from a group of criminals and Gayen becomes at first an hostage and then his only ally. This strange cohabitation gives raise to a wonderful friendship that will give them the courage to face their destiny, changing it forever.

Rapporti paralleli ma strettamente collegati che corrono e crescono sul filo del surf. Martino abbandonerà il suo guscio e saprà conquistare le onde e l’amore, il capitano riuscirà a sconfiggere i fantasmi del suo passato e Silvia al termine delle vacanze potrà tornare a casa.
L’estate di Martino is a fantasy film where the dream of a peaceful world could become real. The summer of 1980 is a cruent summer, marked by Ustica’s tragedy (27th of June) and Bologna’s railway station attack on the 2nd of August: these two tragic episodes are the backgrounds of Martino’s story, of his relationship with captain Clark, an American soldier, and Silvia, his brother’s girlfriend. These strongly connected parallel relationships carry on and grow through the passion for surf. Martino will leave his shyness behind him, will conquer his love and learn how to surf, the captain will defeat his past fears and Silvia will be able to go back home when vacations will be finished.

Bruno, antropologo e professore universitario, apprende che sull’isola di La Galite si è verificato uno straordinario quanto misterioso fenomeno naturale. Risvegliatosi dallo stato di apatia in cui è caduto per la crisi con l’amatissima moglie Sara, decide di riprendere gli studi relativi ad alcune antiche testimonianze storiche del fenomeno e, ottenuti in qualche modo dei finanziamenti, mette insieme una spedizione, che parte alla volta di La Galite alla ricerca della perfetta armonia tra l’uomo e la natura. Il gruppo è formato da Davide, burbero capitano e vecchio amico di Bruno, Max il suo nuovo marinaio, Laura, giovane biologa, e Lorenzo, esperto di sport estremi e provetto sommozzatore. Su tutti domina “Mariella”, lo splendido e antico yacht a vela di Davide. Durante i tre giorni di traversata l’equipaggio, costretto all’intimità forzata tipica della navigazione, vive prima una fase di reciproca diffidenza e poi una di grande apertura, dove tutte le anime della compagnia si svelano, ma, soprattutto, in maniera morbida ed emozionante, il mare, i paesaggi ed il legame strettissimo con la natura indirizzano il gruppo a rapporti sempre più semplici e diretti, facendo crescere in loro il desiderio di scoprire davvero il segreto del fenomeno. Il viaggio cambierà le loro vite.
Bruno, about 40 years old, anthropologist and university professor, thanks to the call of Paolo, an old friend, learns that in the island of La Galite occurred an extraordinary and mysterious natural phenomenon. He, awakening from apathy caused by the crisis with the wife Sarah, decided to resume studies on some ancient historical evidence of the phenomenon and, somehow obtained funding, puts together an expedition that leaves to La Galite, searching for the perfect harmony between man and nature. The crew consists of Davide, gruff captain, Max, his new sailor, Laura, a young biologist, and Lorenzo, an expert in extreme sports and experienced diver. Above all, there is “Mariella”, Davide’s elegant classic sailing yacht. During the sailing, the crew is forced to intimacy of navigation. At the beginning there is a mutual distrust, but later all characters of the group reveal themselve completely. The union of the boat and its crew with the natural environment leads to a more friendly and direct behavior and increases the desire to discover the secret of the phenomenon. The journey will change their lives.

Per salvare la propria azienda, Alberto inizia a fare da corriere per un’organizzazione criminale che sfrutta la sua identità insospettabile, allo scopo di trasformare carichi illeciti. To save his firm, Alberto starts to work as a courier for a criminal organization that exploits his identity above suspicion to transform illegal cargos. The day before one of his trips some armed men sneak in his house threatening retorts to his family and ordering him to give them the precious cargo that he’s going to withdraw. Alberto, blackmailed, goes through Italy to withdraw the cargo and to save his family, at home with the criminals.
